After a traumatic event, some children may worry that something will happen to them or the people they care about.  Attached is some information on helping youth following an episode of mass violence.  Below is a link to the the Department of Veteran Affairs on how children may respond to terrorism.

To Report a Case of Child Abuse or Neglect: call the Division of Child Protection and Permanency at: 1-877-NJABUSE (1-877-652-2873). In New Jersey every citizen, no matter what their occupation or relationship to the child, who comes in contact and observes behavior or conditions that might indicate abuse or neglect is required by law to report their suspicions. Then state authorities can investigate and take appropriate action.
