High Technology High School Students Teach Middle School Participants How to “Control Minds” at HTHS Splash

High Technology student Rohan Kodialam, has been named as a member of the 2014 United States Physics Team.  The team will arrive in College Park this week for training camp and possible selection for the team that will travel to the International Physics Olympiad.  
Congratulations to High Technology High School and to the teachers who support this program.

March 2014- In response to the devastation impacting the Philippines out of Typhoon Haiyan in November 2013, the students at the Shared Time Keyport and Hazlet campus donated much needed school supplies and clothes to those affected in the Iloilo area. These items have been donated to LIG Global Foundation to bring the donated items to the Philippines. Items included backpacks, papers, pens, pencils, notebooks, reading books, markers, crayons, and over 600 articles of clothing.

Life is Great (LIG) Global Foundation (ligglobal.org) is a non-profit non-government organization based in the USA that strives to bring together medical & non-medical volunteers to provide medical care and relief to those in need all around the world. Ms. Myrna A. Velez, Assistant Principal of Shared Time Schools will be accompanying LIG Global in their mission in July to the Philippines to distribute the school supplies and clothing there, as well as provide guidance to the schools integrating CTE into their academic curriculum.

Spring 2014- NJ students are getting a jump start on agriculture-related careers at Monmouth County Career Center- FFA New Horizons

February 2014- Student members of the MCVSD Freehold Skills USA organization elected to donate the earnings of the Save Around Coupon books to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The students raised $500.00.
